Lil Anthony has talked of nothing else since we have been home. We weren't
able to fish the lake or even to boat on it, but that's Mother Nature and if
she decides to have a drought there's not much anyone can do about it.
Our guide, we could not have asked for a better one. I can't express
enough thanks for the absolutely wonderful two days he gave us. When we
venture your way again to drop a line, it would be a privilege to have him as our guide.
The weather was beautiful. We let Lil Anthony catch the fish. We set
lines out and then let him real them in. I learned how to use a bait casting
reel also. I'm looking forward to picking one up for myself now. Your guide still
probably hasn't gotten all the bird nest out yet that I created. 7 fish were
caught the first day , 8 the second day. Lil Anthony finished up the second
day with a 4 pounder followed closely with his trophy 6 1/4 pound bass.
I'll just end this e-mail by saying that when we were leaving I asked Lil
Anthony "It was a great trip wasn't it"? And he replied, Dad it was a perfect
trip!
Thanks Ron & Randy...Andy & Anthony Lee... Click here to view photos FLORIDA SHINER BASS FISHING TESTIMONIAL:

Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2001 1:12 PMRon, the fishing was very good, my son and I caught 20 odd fish over the 2
trips. There were 6 different species the best being a bass weighing 3.5 lbs
caught by my son. Bob our guide was excellent, his was knowledgeable about
the area, the fishing, the lake and canals, the wildlife and the echo
systems. He was friendly and patient and gave my son some good fishing advice.
I do not think we will make another trip your way for 12 months or so, but when we
do I will contact you again.Mick Dunworth FLORIDA SHINER BASS FISHING TESTIMONIAL:

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Our
fishing trip was really nice. Your guide was a great guide,
he gave us really good tips. Not sure about our
biggest fish caught but we had fun so that is all that
mattered to us, plus we were able to enjoy the nice
weather compared to the cold weather in Michigan.Take care and hopefully we can do this again in a
couple years.Jerry and Barb Yanak

The fishing trip was great. We had an excellent time. Never saw a lake
on fire before. Our guide was fantastic. He really knows how to fish
and find the big ones. He was very helpful and a pleasure to spend time
with. The only disappointment was not being able to get on the big lake.
As I remember, we caught 36 bass and about 10 to 15 others. My son, Dr.
John R. Lewis of Knightdale, N.C. caught an 8 1/4 and 7 1/2 bass. My
biggest was just about 5 lbs. We caught a lot of fish between 3 and 5
lbs. We have some pictures if you need them, but will have to mail them
as I don't have a scanner. If you can e-mail the pictures and the
article, I would appreciate it.
