Florida wild shiner trophy bass fishing
anglers Rick Perry (Indianapolis, IN - ph: 317-823-8775 - e-mail:
rperry@mibor.net) and (left) Dean Trennepohl (Monticello, IN
- ph: 219-583-6060 - e-mail: dtren@monti.net) caught 28 bass that included a 10 3/4 lb'er
during 2 half days (May 21 & 22, 2001) of wild shiner bass
fishing with Captain Ron. Dean caught the 10 3/4 lb'er. They
boated 10 bass up to 5 lbs in the Harney Pond Canal on their
first afternoon of shiner fishing. The next morning I fished
the Point Of The Reef out on Lake Okeechobee where we boated
18 bass up to 10 3/4 lbs. These anglers released all bass except
the 10 3/4 lb'er that was kept for the wall.6 lb'er - May 20, 2001

anglers Mark Muller and Matt Johnson (Phila., PA - ph: 215-968-4364
- E-Mail: TRIALZ123@aol.com) caught
and released 10 bass up to 6 lbs during a half day (May 20, 2001)
of wild shiner bass fishing with Ron's Guide Service. Matt Johnson
caught the 6 lb'er. Bass were caught in the Harney Pond Canal
area of Lake Okeechobee.
